We covered the cancellation of the Ski train in July for the forthcoming winter. The train has been in service for 23 years, which launched numerous campaigns to save the Ski Train, Eurostar has confirmed the service isn’t completely retired yet, and under review for next winter.
Taking the Ski train to the Alps from London St Pancras, saves up to 80% carbon, compared to the equivalent plane journey, and after taking the train ourselves its a great way to travel in a chilled and relaxed manner, with minimal baggage weight and size restrictions.
There is still options to get the Alps for this winter season by train.
