Mountain Bike Downhill Tracks

Farmer Johns MTB Park comprises a selection of downhill trails ranging in classification from your typical Red through to Black and Severe Black. Our park is a combination of open flat out meadows with jump and drop features, dropping into steep technical (and often damp!) woodland.

The trails are aimed squarely at the DH rider or proficient mountain biker looking to try something slightly more challenging.

Supporting the grass roots MTB race series in the North West. Working in conjunction with Borderline Events JMTB hosts a full regional downhill racing series including the North West Championships.

In addition we also host our now infamous FJ Race Weekender with night races, dirt jumping, bogie cart racing and a BBQ!.

Dirt Jumping

Home to FJ Trails, established since 2007 our dirt jumping park is one of the premium spots in the North West!

FJMTB has great on site facilities for riders; the Big View Cafe is a great hangout spot where you can chill out with friends while you load up on food and drinks when you visit.

We also provide on-site changing rooms and toilets.

If you plan on staying the night the FJMTB Bunkhouse is a perfect place to make a weekend of riding at FJMTB, or use it as a base to head out into the Peak District (and hit up some of the best XC trails England has to offer!).

Camping facilities are available at a cost of £8/person per night.

The tracks at FJMTB offer a wide and varied range of riding to suit all styles; with trails that ride flat-out through meadows to big berms, steep techy woods, rock gardens, jumps and north shore there is something for everyone.

The park map gives a rough idea of where stuff is within the park, however John loves his spade and is forever making new lines to link tracks in, so only the main lines are shown!
